Nika Chilewich, Founder & Creative Director

A curator and arts writer from Los Angeles, Nika has lived in Mexico City for the past three years.  Her work focuses on contemporary Latin American art, with particular interest in artistic and critical practices that deal with issues of gender, race, and sexuality, as well as in the role that curation can play in generating new areas of inquiry. She holds a Masters in Art History and Curatorial Studies from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, where her thesis received honorable mention.

Sofia Leitner-Laserna, Founder & Operations Director

 A former educator, Sofia is passionate about female empowerment, arts, and education. She has extensive experience working in the non-profit sector, particularly in education and the arts, most recently working in Operations at Lincoln Center in New York City. She holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Yale School of Management and a Bachelor's from Wesleyan University in Latin American Studies.
